Automated systems for milling
C.I.A. s.r.l. designs and produces robot-based automated systems for metal, resin, wood, marble, stone and granite milling.
The robot-based automated systems for milling produced by C.I.A. s.r.l. are available in 3 configuration:
- small, for incisions on stone, plastic materials and metals;
- medium, for light working of metals, plastics and some types of stone;
- large, for heavy-duty working on metals, plastics, marble and granite.
The basic configuration is composed by:
- foundry version 6-axis robot (IP 67 protection)
- electric spindle installed on robot wrist:
- servo control rotating table (7th axis robot) including part-fixing equipment;
- automatically-operated tool store with dust protection
- robot support and rotating table frame support
- soundproof cabin
Robot-based automated systems for milling are supplied by C.I.A. s.r.l. as ‘turn - key’ solutions.
To improve and reduce programming times of new parts, C.I.A. s.r.l. off-line programming software and 3D laser scanning systems can be used in robot-based automated systems for milling.
